Job Placement

The placement of students in satisfactory employment is one of the primary objectives of the Tennessee Technology Center at Nashville. Employability skill development is an integral component of each instructional training program. Placement services provided to students include the following:

• Individual and group counseling sessions Interviewing skills development
• Job leads and interview scheduling
• Resume and application package development
• Letters of Recommendation and Referral
• Part-time job placement assistance during course of training

The Tennessee Technology Center at Nashville evaluates its program outcomes each year. The completion rate of students was 65% for 2002-03 fiscal year. There were 519 students who received a certificate or diploma from the institution during the year and 92% of these graduates secured jobs in their field of training. The pass rate on licensure and certification exams taken by students was 95%.
