Program Description
TTCN’s school of Practical Nursing is the largest training center for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s) in the State of Tennessee. The program is designed for students to obtain the basic competencies needed to sit for a licensure exam to become licensed as a Practical Nurse.

Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED certification; demonstrate proof of MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B immunity, negative two-step TB skin test, Tetanus shot, and a negative drug screen; submit completed medical form; submit to a background check; minimum COMPASS score 80% in Reading and 50% in Math; attend the orientation session; submit three work references; and, submit an essay. |
